A Spooktacular Halloween Race Night for all the family will headline half-term celebrations at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium this month.
Racegoers young and old are invited to the Byker track on Thursday, October 30, where a host of family-friendly activities are planned to mark spooky season.
Seasonal entertainment, a fancy dress competition and a chance to get up close and personal to the stars of the track will compliment 12 live races with the action getting underway shortly after 6.30pm.
A £20 Family Bundle has been launched to offer entry for two adults and two U18s. The package includes admission for all four racegoers, plus a promotional drink for each adult and goody bags for children.
Ian Walton, General Manager at Newcastle Greyhound Stadium, said: “We’ve brought together a variety of ticketing options ahead of our Halloween-themed race night later this month.
“There’ll be a range of family-friendly activities, and something for everyone of all ages to enjoy.
“We’re always looking to engage new audiences with our sport, and to show that greyhound racing offers a fantastic evening out for all of the family.”
In a further boost, the track has launched a Back On Track offer for October where all admission packages have been slashed by 25%, including restaurant reservations and Winning Deal bookings.
Tickets for Newcastle Stadium’s Halloween race night on Thursday, October 30, are available online via www.newcastle-greyhounds.co.uk. Doors open at 5.45pm with the first of 12 races off at 6.37pm.
Racing will continue at Newcastle Stadium on Thursday evenings plus Friday and Saturday afternoons for the remainder of 2025. The track will host its final Category One competition in December when the £20,000 Premier Greyhound Racing All England Cup headlines the venue’s Christmas celebrations on Saturday, December 27.
